KLM vous propose de choisir votre place avec Facebook | France Soir.

La compagnie aérienne néerlandaise KLM va lancer un système de réservation sur les réseaux sociaux. Ainsi, les voyageurs pourront choisir leur place en fonction de leurs affinités sur Facebook voire Twitter.

Décidément, on peut faire de plus en plus de choses sur les réseaux sociaux. Dès 2012, les voyageurs auront la possibilité de réserver leur place d’avion sur les réseaux sociaux tels que Facebook et Twitter. Ce nouveau service mise en place par KLM s’appellera « Meet & Seat » (« rencontrez-vous et asseyez-vous » en français). Il permettra ainsi de lier son profil de réseau social à ses informations personnelles lors du « check-in » ou de la réservation du vol en ligne. Néanmoins, le système ne serait encore en phase de développement. « Les modalités précises ne sont pas encore totalement fixées », précise-t-on au sein de la compagnie néerlandaise.

Pas une première

Ce n’est pas totalement une nouveauté puisque Malaysia Airlines avait déjà lancé un système permettant de partager ses informations de vol sur sa page Facebook. Planely, un site Internet, propose déjà depuis quelques temps cette option de “lier” les voisins de vols via Facebook et LinkedIn. La compagnie néerlandaise KLM, qui est également affiliée à Air France, a déjà effectué un test en ouvrant les réservations d’un vol entre Amsterdam et Miami uniquement sur Twitter. En cinq heures, 351 réservations ont été effectuées via le célèbre site de micro-blogging. Dans tous les cas, la pratique de réservation de vol via les réseaux sociaux devrait tendre à se généraliser.
